How to Reach Seminar Venue

Puducherry can be reached by air or rail upto Chennai and then by a drive of about 160 km by road. A few trains ply from Delhi, Mumbai, Howrah, Bhubaneswar, via Tindivanam and Villupuram which are about 40 km from Puducherry. It is well connected by road from neighbouring states such as Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh. Road travel from Chennai on the East Coast Road (ECR) is very scenic and is usually recommended.

If you arrive by train at Chennai Central take a bus / auto to Koyembedu Central Bus Stand (10 Kms from Central Station). Express buses to Pondicherry are available via Tindivanam and East Coast Road (ECR) every 10 minutes and A/C buses once in an hour. The journey to Pondichery would be of 3 hours approximately covering 160 kms.

If you arrive by Air, please go to the Bus Stop opposite the airport. Express buses to Pondicherry every 10 minutes and A/C buses every one hour will be available.

Once you reach Pondicherry Bus Stand, take an auto to your accommodation place which is around 5 km (auto fare Rs.80-Rs.100 approximately).
